Great tour!The Haight and Ashbury real crime tour was awesome! Our tour guide was named Robert and he was the best! Robert’s story telling ability mixed with his witty humor made the tour very entertaining. He also shared some of his personal experiences with the crimes that he talked about on the tour, which added a perspective different than what media stories could ever tell you. He only mentioned known facts instead of over exaggerating things and venturing into crazy conspiracy theories about the crimes. Robert was very respectful of the victims and their families while sharing their stories, and made sure not to glorify the murderers in any way. He also included things in the tour that were not true crime related like showing us some of his favorite spots to eat, cool stores, houses of famous musicians and pointing out his favorite houses lining the streets of the tour as to not make it all doom and murder.
